F-Response over the Internet at Techno Security & Forensics Investigations 2015

Jun 12, 2015

First and foremost I want to thank each of you who came by the booth to talk about your remote forensics, incident response, and e-discovery challenges. It's always great to meet F-Response users and learn how they leverage our technologies in their daily operations. We learn something new each and every time we attend one of these events. Furthermore, this year I was able to present on Live Remote Forensics to a very engaged audience. For those that were able to come to the presentation I certainly appreciate you taking the time to attend and I hope you were able to walk away with a few new ideas to explore.

One of the more interesting takeaways from the event was hearing how many current and potential customers were looking to extend their consulting efforts to service multiple remote clients. We too saw those same challenges in our Professional Services group and put together a very successful model to address that need. This model is documented in the following Whitepaper on our website:

F-Response Over the Internet, Extending your Forensics Practice

The above Whitepaper covers a simple but effective model for providing remote forensics services from virtually anywhere. The basis of this model involves connecting to remote client sites via VPN, then using USB-Over-Ethernet technology to forward F-Response along with other forensic products (such as X-Ways) to a working machine at the remote site.

Simply put this model allows you to perform on site forensics, incident response, and e-discovery rapidly and with little in the way of client interaction. It's an exiting option to consider and it was our pleasure to re-introduce people to it at the conference.

In addition to the above model we also spent a good bit of time talking about F-Response Now and the new Whitepaper we posted on the website earlier this year:

Lowering the Threshold for Action with F-Response Now

The above Whitepaper covers leveraging the cost effective F-Response Now service to provide pin point recommendations and make rapid determinations if additional investigation is required.

Combined both documents present the powerful techniques our professional services teams used to meet client needs all over the world. We sincerely hope these Whitepapers give you an insight in just one of the ways you can "Extend Your Arsenal" with F-Response.

Warmest Regards,

M. Shannon, Principal
