F-Response goes embedded, NAS style

A large part of the F-Response Mission revolves around getting you access to the data, irregardless of where it is. As such we've been exploring the world of embedded devices (See our prior post on F-Response for Android) and recently brought F-Response to the Netgear ReadyNAS family of NAS devices.

The Netgear product line is an excellent first embedded NAS platforms for F-Response, as it is commodity priced, frequently located in small to mid size organizations, and has a favorable approach to 3rd party development.

We've developed a new F-Response build for the ReadyNAS SPARC based NAS Devices:

f-response-ce-e-readynas-sparc = ReadyNAS NV+, NV, Duo, 1100, X6, and 600 network attached storage product lines. (RAIDiator 4.1.6)

As with all other new platform releases they are available to active licensed customers for no additional charge and will be part of the upcoming 3.9.9 release. Furthermore, we will continue to explore other NAS options, so if you have a specific device you'd like to see F-Response on please let us know.
